Reachability
Gashouder is located in Cultuurpark Westergas. Westergas is centrally situated in Amsterdam, just 2.5 km from Central Station and Sloterdijk Station. We advise visitors to come by bike or public transport. The area is largely car-free and has limited access for cars.
Bicycle
Gashouder is easily accessible by bike, and there are plenty of bicycle parking facilities. Please make sure to park your bike in the designated areas. View the exact route to Gashouder here.

From Amsterdam Central Station:
Bus 21, stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek
Bus 22 stop: Nassauplein (15 minutes walk)
Bus 18, stop Haarlemmerplein (15-minute walk)
Tram 2, 17 or 24, transfer at Leidseplein to Tram 5 towards Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek
Night bus from Amsterdam Central (Friday to Sunday):
Bus N88, stop Van Limburg Stirumstraat
Bus N81, stop Nassauplein
From Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station:
Bus 22, stop Nassauplein
From Amsterdam Zuid Station:
Tram 5, stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek or Van Limburg Stirumstraat
Car
We encourage visitors to come by bike or public transport. Not only is this a sustainable choice, it’s also practical, as the Westergas area is largely car-free. If you do choose to come by car, please navigate as follows:
From the A10 ring road: take exit S103/S104 (Haarlem) and drive towards the city centre via Haarlemmerweg. You will find Westergas on your left.
From Schiphol: take the A4 towards Amsterdam (Ring A10) and then follow the A10 West (towards Zaanstad/Zaandam). Take exit S103 and continue via Haarlemmerweg towards the city centre. You will find Westergas on your left.
Parking
