House Rules

These house rules apply to everyone inside Gashouder. 

Entry

  • A valid ticket is required for entry. 

  • Always bring a valid ID. You may be asked for it if there is any doubt about your age or identity. Without a valid ID, you will be refused entry. 

  • Visitors who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry. 

  • Visitors under 18 are not admitted after 11 PM. Events at Gashouder are not suitable for babies or children under 8. For attending events without an adult, the recommended minimum age is 14. Any exceptions will be stated on the event page. 

  • Only bags up to A4 size are allowed. Gashouder only has lockers; large bags and luggage cannot be stored. Gashouder may require the use of lockers. 

Safety

  • For safety reasons, visitors may be searched and bags may be checked. Cooperation is mandatory; refusal means no entry. 

  • Always follow the instructions of staff. Failure to do so may result in removal. 

  • Weapons, knives and dangerous or sharp objects are strictly prohibited. If found, the police will be informed immediately. 

  • E-bike batteries and loose lithium-ion batteries are not allowed, including storage in the lockers. 

  • Gashouder uses CCTV for the safety of visitors, staff and artists. By attending, you consent to being filmed. 

Conduct

  • Aggression, discrimination, racism, sexism and intimidation are not tolerated in any form, towards visitors or staff. Violations lead to immediate removal. 

  • Unwanted sexual advances are not tolerated. Experiencing harassment or unwanted behaviour from others? Report it immediately to a member of staff, security or the bar. 

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the building. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area outside. 

  • Vandalism and damage are not tolerated. The cost of any damage will be recovered from the person responsible. 

Alcohol

  • Gashouder only serves alcohol to visitors aged 18 or over. ID will be requested if there is any doubt. 

  • Passing alcohol to minors is prohibited and leads to immediate removal of everyone involved. 

  • Visitors who are clearly drunk will no longer be served and may be asked to leave the venue. 

Photo & Video

  • Professional photo and film equipment (cameras with interchangeable lenses, DSLRs, video or audio recording equipment) is not allowed without prior written permission. 

  • Hidden recording devices, including camera glasses and similar equipment, are strictly prohibited. 

  • Reselling recordings made at Gashouder without permission is prohibited. 

  • Gashouder may make photo, video and audio recordings for promotional and journalistic purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of these recordings without any right to compensation. 

Sound

  • Sound levels at Gashouder can exceed 80 dBA. Prolonged exposure can cause hearing damage. 

  • Hearing protection is the visitor's own responsibility. Earplugs are available at the bar. 

Not permitted

  • Drinks or food brought from outside 

  • Glassware outside the main hall 

  • Soft and hard drugs (if found: police) 

  • Trading in goods or tickets 

  • Animals 

  • Backpacks and (wheeled) suitcases 

  • Promotional material without permission 

  • Stickers or markers 

  • Prescription medication without a prescription 

Consequences of violators

Any violation of the house rules immediately voids your ticket, with no right to a refund of entry or membership fees. Gashouder has the right to ban visitors for a set period. In the case of serious violations or criminal offences, a police report will always be filed.
