If you only know sor as a rapper, you only know one side of him. He produces, composes, plays piano, writes songs and conducts. But above all, he is a musician. Classical, trap, hip-hop, pop or punk: to sor, there are no boundaries, only music. It’s in bringing these worlds together that he finds his own sound.

With Bae Doven, he brought hip-hop and classical music together and formed his own 58-piece orchestra, selling out Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. The project earned him two Edison Awards in 2023, for Best Album and Best Hip-Hop. A year earlier, he won Maestro, and he has since taken on the role of conductor for major productions, including Red Bull Symphonic with DYSTINCT.

That same approach is at the heart of INSOMNIA, an album that saw him involve his audience in the creative process. During his Trial & Error shows, he played unreleased music and invited fans to help decide which tracks would ultimately make it onto the album. The result: a nocturnal album filled with synths, 808s and choral arrangements. 

Following his shows at TivoliVredenburg and performances at Lowlands and Into The Great Wide Open, he returns to his hometown for a new live show.
