Pre-Opening Season

Gashouder will open in November as the new cultural venue of Amsterdam. Ahead of the official opening, the pre-opening season will begin in June and continue through October. This period includes a series of events, such as Chernobyl during Holland Festival, art fair UNFAIR in September, and several events during Amsterdam Dance Event.

Throughout the pre-opening season, you will already have the opportunity to return to the iconic main hall, while work on the new underground spaces continues behind the scenes. Gashouder will only be fully opened and brought into use with the official opening in November. How and when Gashouder opens will be announced later.
