With her new album Emotional Junglist, she has perfected and refined her alt-jungle sound into something utterly original, exhilarating and unmistakable.

Nia Archives is the young force behind the latest era of jungle, earning a Mercury Prize nomination for her debut album Silence Is Loud. Since breaking through in 2020, the Bradford-born, Leeds-raised artist has built an impressive track record: placing third in the 2023 BBC Sound Poll, receiving two BRIT Award nominations in 2025 (Artist of the Year and Dance Act), and previously being nominated for Rising Star in 2023. She is the first jungle artist to receive three BRIT nominations. She has won awards from DJ Mag, NME, the MOBO Awards and the Artist and Manager Awards, and performed alongside Beyoncé on her Renaissance World Tour in London.

At festivals such as Glastonbury and Warehouse Project, as well as at her own Bad Gyalz nights, she proves herself a natural-born performer. She has created official remixes for Jorja Smith, Fred again.. and Jamie xx, and collaborated with brands including Dior, Burberry, Nike and Apple.
