Mochakk Calling

Driven by passion, curiosity and an insatiable hunger for music, this Brazilian artist has established himself as one of the leading names in the electronic music scene.

Mochakk grew up in Sorocaba, around an hour and a half from São Paulo. Music was always present at home, with disco, jazz, blues, rock and Brazilian sounds constantly playing on the turntable. Outside, the skate culture of the streets and a restless curiosity shaped his perspective just as much. From an early age, he learned to find connections between sounds from entirely different worlds. That instinct remains at the core of what he does, both in and out of the booth. Today, he runs his own club, Obliqo, in his hometown, holds a residency at DC-10 and releases music that reflects the wide-ranging influences he grew up with.

What truly sets Mochakk apart is not simply his versatility, but his authenticity. He plays exactly as he is: open, direct and unrestricted. His sets feel less like performances and more like conversations. That combination of musical depth, personality and raw energy has taken him to the forefront of electronic music. His Calling show is built around community, culture and the connections created through music, art and fashion. In Amsterdam, that vision takes over the Gashouder for one night: one room, one carefully curated line-up, and a programme shaped entirely around his world.
