Klangphonics

Zest

The Berlin live electronic trio pairing house and techno with refined songwriting.

Klangphonics play electronic music like a band: live, with house and techno at the core and songs at the heart. After sold-out tours across Europe and America, the trio return with a new album, Zest, and a new live show.

Zest is written by Maxl Walmsley-Pledl, the creative core of the trio. Alongside regular collaborators Anna Metko, BRØR and LUCIE, he works with new names, including the Grammy-nominated Bros. Landreth. The album moves between euphoria and melancholy, reaching for the full range of emotions electronic music can stir.

The new live show brings the concert hall and the club together. For almost ten years, Klangphonics have toured the world, with hundreds of shows and major festivals behind them. Their DIY approach to social media has built an audience of millions.

What began as a live band in 2017 has grown into something between a band and a solo project. On stage, Maxl is joined by co-founders Ben Kopfnagel and Markus Zunic. With Zest, the trio play the biggest shows of their career, including a stop at Gashouder.
