Jesse Welles
The Kingdom Is Within You Tour
The American singer-songwriter using folk and americana to sing plainly about life today.
Jesse Welles makes folk and americana with a touch of rock ’n’ roll, and tells it exactly like it is. The singer-songwriter and guitarist from Ozark, Arkansas, brings his new tour to Gashouder.
His lyrics about life in the 21st century are plain-spoken and direct, cutting straight to the point. Yet his music is about more than politics; above all, it is about emotion. Welles sings for anyone who feels the pressure of an unforgiving society and still holds on to hope for the future.
In 2024 he filmed himself on his phone, deep in the woods of Arkansas. Songs such as War Isn’t Murder, United Health and Ozempic spread around the world, earning him millions of followers and nearly a billion views and streams. In two years he released eight albums, and in 2026 came four GRAMMY nominations, including Best Folk Album and Best Americana Album. He now brings those honest, direct songs to Gashouder.
