Jacob Banks

The British-Nigerian singer blending soul with electronica and African influences.

Jacob Banks makes soul with a cinematic eye. As a singer, songwriter and producer, he weaves alternative music, electronica and African influences into a sound entirely his own. His 2027 tour brings him to Gashouder.

At the centre of it all is his voice: warm, deep and instantly recognisable. His songs play like scenes from a film, emotionally honest and rich in imagery. Genre boundaries don’t hold him back; he follows the story.

That curiosity reaches beyond music. In film and design, too, Banks pursues ideas that could only come from him, driven by culture and imagination. Live, those stories get the space they deserve.
