Ashe
The Girl Of Your Dreams
The American singer-songwriter pairing indie pop and folk with big, theatrical pop.
Ashe makes pop with a grand gesture: indie pop and folk, lifted by theatrical arrangements. Due to high demand, the American singer-songwriter brings her new album The Girl Of Your Dreams to Gashouder for an extra show.
Ashe broke through worldwide in 2020 with Moral of the Story, which became an international hit through the Netflix film To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. The multi-Platinum artist now counts more than 3.5 billion streams and around seven million monthly listeners on Spotify.
On The Girl Of Your Dreams she reunites with producer Noah Conrad, who co-wrote Moral of the Story. Drawing on ABBA, The Beach Boys and Queen, she trades the heavier tone of earlier work for adventurous, theatrical pop. You hear it on exuberant single Stop The Wedding!, the disco-tinged Lasso The Moon and singalong Swan Lake.
Ashe has played festivals including Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo and headlined shows in London and New York. Now she brings her new album to Gashouder.
