999999999 & Charlie Sparks

Raw, hardware-driven hard techno on one side, and a genre-crossing blend of acid, industrial and rave on the other. Together, they turn the night into one continuous, pounding set that doesn't let up.

999999999 stand at the sharp edge of hard techno. In the studio and on stage, the duo pit uncompromising machine music against raw improvisation. The collision keeps the sound shifting, always pushing forward. Since their start in 2016, the Italian duo has released a potent run of precision-tooled 12-inch records on their own label, NineTimesNine. On stage, the duo plays a hardware-only set, built with the impact and intensity to set alight the world's biggest techno events.

Charlie Sparks builds an intense, gripping energy by blending Acid, Industrial, Rave and Psytrance-like grooves, using every element of each style with precision to create the relentless momentum that runs through his productions and performances.

His raw, hard-edged sound has spread quickly around the world. It started during his architecture studies, where he explored the dark, hard-hitting side of techno and found a real connection between the two crafts. Just like architecture, he designs every part of his music to generate specific emotions and shape the atmosphere in the room. That process has given him his energy-filled, rhythmically pounding trademark sound, one that electrifies dancefloors around the world.
